Koraput is one of the most pristine, scenic valley in southern tips of Odisha which boarders to Andhra Pradesh in east and Chatishgarh on west. The waterfalls at Duduma, the Holy Shiva caves at Gupteswar , the Sabar Srikhetra temple at Koraput, Onkadeli weekly market for Bonda tribes, Textiles at Kotpad , Hills at Deomali are some of the highlights which is not to be missed during your visit to Koraput.

It is worth while to mention here that, Koraput is one of the rare destination which is awarded with GIAHS (Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System )award by UN for its indigenous agriculture system.BONDA, GODABA, PARAJA , DHURUBA, DIDAHI ,MALI, RANA are the common tribes or habitants who deserve this award for their aged old tradition of farmng.

Koraput is well connected by road, train from Bhubaneswar , Visakhapatnam and the nearest airport is Visakhapatnam (vtz) which is almost four hour drive. You need to have about a week to explore KORAPUT and its cultural, natural beauty.
